Château Mont-Redon Chateauneuf du Pape 2021 Rouge

Þetta er vínsvæði sem íslendingar þekkja vel, enda vín frá þessu svæði helsta vín þjóðarinnar yfir hátíðirnar í mörg ár. Vínið er ávaxtaríkt og þurrt með sólberja, bláberja, jarðvegs, villisveppa og kryddi í bragðinu. Þó vínið geti þroskast í 15-20 ár í viðbót er ekkert að því að drekka það núna. Eftirbragðið er langt og tannínríkt. Þetta vín smellpassar með lambalæri.

English: This area is well known in Iceland, for many years one of the only really good wines on the market was a Rhone Chateauneuf du Pape which made it popular with holiday meals. This is a fruity and tannin rich wine and has lots of blackcurrant, bluberry, spice, earthy and wild mushrooms in the aroma and palate. Even though the it can develop for another 15-20 years, there is nothing wrong with drinking it now.
